MISSION STATEMENT:
The intent of Parish Outreach is to allow the Pastor, the Associates, and the Parish, opportunities to extend their presence throughout the Parish community aimed at helping and organizing the community around any hurting individual or group.
GOALS:
- To facilitate the social ministry of the Parish by beginning and/or augmenting a community of Christian services in which talents and skills of all are used to serve each other.
- To develop awareness among people of their neighbor’s needs in such a way that they begin to be responsible for one and other.
- To facilitate services to the Parish community regardless of race, creed, color, or sex.
- To assist the Parish community and individuals in its evaluation and resolution of needs through cooperative efforts of search-out and reach-out.
- To develop volunteer leadership that will not only look to the immediate needs of the Parish community but will build toward a future that grow toward the alleviation of pain and suffering of individuals and the whole Parish community.
